The AS-MBBR64 plays an important role in the wastewater treatment process at our client's municipal wastewater treatment plant in São Paulo, including the following aspects:

1. Biodegradation of organic matter: AS-MBBR64 utilizes the biofilm on the surface of the packing material to attach and grow microorganisms, which through metabolism degrade the organic matter in the wastewater into simpler inorganic matter, such as carbon dioxide and water, thus purifying the water body.

2. Ammonia nitrogen removal: Microorganisms in AS-MBBR64 can promote the conversion of ammonia nitrogen in wastewater into nitrate nitrogen and nitrogen gas, through the process of nitrification and denitrification, so as to reduce the ammonia nitrogen content in the water body, and to meet the requirements of wastewater treatment.

3. Improve the efficiency of wastewater treatment: The fluidized bed filler in AS-MBBR64 provides a large surface area for the growth and activities of microorganisms, which provides sufficient space for the microorganisms to degrade the pollutants efficiently, thus improving the efficiency of wastewater treatment.

4.
