How to treat industrial wastewater

Classification of industrial wastewater
1. According to the degree of pollution, industrial wastewater can be divided into two categories: production wastewater and domestic wastewater. Production wastewater refers to water that is slightly polluted or has a higher temperature during use (such as equipment cooling water); domestic wastewater refers to water that is seriously polluted during use, and most of them are seriously harmful.
2. According to the chemical properties of the main pollutants contained in industrial wastewater, it can be divided into organic wastewater containing mainly organic pollutants, organic wastewater containing mainly organic pollutants, mixed wastewater containing both organic and organic substances, heavy metal wastewater, wastewater containing radioactive substances, and cooling water that is only polluted by heat. For example, electroplating wastewater and wastewater from mineral processing are organic wastewater, and wastewater from food or petroleum processing is organic wastewater.
3. According to the products and processing objects of industrial enterprises, it can be divided into papermaking wastewater, textile wastewater, leathermaking wastewater, agricultural pesticide wastewater, metallurgical wastewater, oil refining wastewater, etc.
4. According to the main components of pollutants contained in wastewater, it can be divided into acidic wastewater, alkaline wastewater, phenol-containing wastewater, chromium-containing wastewater, organic phosphorus-containing wastewater and radioactive wastewater, etc.
1. Physical treatment equipment
Physical treatment equipment is a device that treats wastewater according to the characteristics and components of substances in the wastewater. Among them, common physical treatment equipment includes:
1. Sedimentation tank: A sedimentation tank is a device that settles suspended matter to the bottom by gravity. It can separate solids and liquids and remove suspended matter in wastewater.
2. Filter: A filter is a device that filters liquid through a filter screen or filter element. It can effectively remove solid particles and suspended matter in wastewater.
3. Reverse osmosis equipment: Reverse osmosis equipment is a device that filters wastewater through a semipermeable membrane. It can remove soluble pollutants and tiny particles in wastewater.
2. Chemical treatment equipment
Chemical treatment equipment is a device that treats wastewater through chemical reactions. Common chemical treatment equipment includes:
1. Neutralization reactor:The neutralization reactor neutralizes the acidic or alkaline substances in the wastewater to neutral by adding a neutralizer to the wastewater to meet the discharge standards.
2. Oxidation equipment: Oxidation equipment uses oxidants to oxidize organic pollutants in wastewater and convert them into harmless substances. Commonly used oxidation equipment include ozone generators and advanced oxidation technology.
3. Activated carbon adsorber: Activated carbon adsorber uses activated carbon to adsorb organic matter in wastewater to remove odor and color in wastewater. It is a commonly used device for removing organic pollutants.
